SDT to Show Quantum Security Camera at 2026 AIoT Exhibition

SDT will present quantum transition industrial solutions built on quantum random number generation and post-quantum cryptography at COEX from November 3.

SDT, a quantum technology company, will showcase quantum transition (QX) industrial solutions, including a quantum security camera, at the 2026 AIoT International Exhibition, which opens at COEX on November 3, according to datanet.co.kr.

The company said the QX solutions apply quantum security technology to video surveillance, smart senior centers and smart manholes. They are based on quantum random number generation (QRNG) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

The quantum security camera generates random numbers from image sensor dark current noise using SDT's own patent, without needing a dedicated chip. It supports ONVIF, so it can be deployed without replacing existing VMS or NVR systems.

Safety systems for senior centers and manholes

The smart senior center solution uses fall-detection radar sensors instead of cameras and monitors data via the cloud. The smart manhole solution detects harmful gas, flooding and fire signs in underground spaces in real time, 24 hours a day.

SDT CEO Yoon Ji-won said the exhibition demonstrates that quantum technology can be applied across traditional industries.

Quick answers

When does the 2026 AIoT International Exhibition open?

It opens at COEX on November 3, 2026.

What does SDT's quantum security camera use instead of a dedicated chip?

It generates random numbers from image sensor dark current noise using SDT's own patent.

Does SDT's security camera require replacing existing VMS or NVR systems?
