XREAL launches AURA XR glasses in Korea at 1.69 million won
The 95g glasses pack Sony micro OLED displays and Google Gemini, with shipments starting in late November.
XREAL held a hands-on event for its AURA XR glasses at Hongdae Square in Seoul on October 30, 2026, and began selling the device in Korea the same day, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. The glasses are available through XREAL's official Naver Smart Store in two models.
AURA is an optical see-through XR product that can display up to five virtual windows at once. It supports hand and voice input based on Android XR, and also works with keyboards, trackpads and game controllers. XREAL's own X1S chip runs alongside Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite platform.
The glasses weigh under 95g, with processing and battery handled by a separate compute puck connected by cable. Sony micro OLED displays provide a 70-degree field of view, 1200p resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Google's generative AI model Gemini is built in and can understand what the user is looking at.
XREAL lists five TÜV Rheinland certifications for AURA, including eye comfort and low blue light, along with Sound by Bose. The device offers more than 150 XR-dedicated experiences at launch and supports Naver's CHZZK 180/360-degree videos. It also features electrochromic dimming and ships with a dedicated GameSir controller that carries a Gemini key.
The 12GB/256GB model is priced at 1.69 million won and the 16GB/512GB model at 1.99 million won, with those prices held until December. XREAL said shipments begin in late November.
