DXVK-NVAPI 0.9.3 adds ARM64 builds and DXR opacity micromap support

The update also brings an alternative Reflex implementation for Vulkan titles and support for NVAPI R610 and R615 driver settings, including DLSS overrides.

DXVK-NVAPI version 0.9.3 has been released, adding support for compiling for ARM64 and shipping an ARM64 build in the release artifact, according to gamingonlinux.com. The project implements NVIDIA's NVAPI for DXVK and VKD3D-Proton.

The release adds Opacity Micromap (OMM) support for DirectX Raytracing through NVAPI, which requires VKD3D-Proton 3.1 or newer and the VK_KHR_opacity_micromap extension in NVIDIA driver R615 or newer. It also introduces an alternative Reflex implementation for Vulkan titles using the VK_NV_low_latency revision 2 extension, likewise on driver R615 or newer, that makes the DXVK-NVAPI Vulkan layer obsolete.

Driver settings from the NVAPI R610 and R615 headers are now supported, including DLSS override options. NVAPI wrappers for devices, command lists and command queues are stored in D3D12 private data instead of a cache map, and VRAM reporting has been changed to behave closer to NVAPI on Windows.

A potential initialization race condition was fixed, resolving a crash in Elite Dangerous with the EDHM mod. Sound Voltex can now retrieve output refresh rate information through the NvAPI_DISP_GetDisplayConfig implementation, and Pascal spoofing for War Thunder was removed.

The update also adds a workaround so the NVIDIA RTX Path Tracing Sample can use NVAPI shader extensions without setting DXVK_NVAPI_D3D12_NV_SHADER_EXTN=1. The release is already included with Proton, and Valve will update it for upcoming Proton Experimental updates.
