Konami unveils new jubeat arcade cabinet with 120fps full-HD display

The cabinet keeps the 4x4 16-panel control but adds touch side monitors, a light cube and separate timing adjustment options.

Konami showed a new arcade cabinet for its BEMANI music game jubeat at Amusement Expo 2026, according to 4gamer.net. The cabinet features a full-HD display running at 120fps, a touch panel, side monitors, a light cube and an earphone jack.

The 4x4, 16-panel play control is retained from the original cabinet. The top monitor accepts touch input for song selection, difficulty selection and option settings.

New options let players adjust judgement timing and rendering timing separately, and display the order in which markers appear.

Konami also redesigned the cabinet for easier maintenance, reducing the number of screws needed to reach internal parts such as the panel sensors. The company has invited players to try the new cabinet at its offices.

Location tests since April 2026

Location tests of the new cabinet have been held in various regions since April 2026. A nationwide launch date has not been announced.

The first jubeat cabinet debuted in 2008 as part of the BEMANI series and ran at 30fps.
