Phantom Blade Zero Patch Adds Audio Settings, Cuts Boss Grab Attacks
S-Game's first post-launch update arrived on WeGame with performance and shader changes, while the Ultra+ mod adds ray-traced ambient occlusion.
S-Game released the first post-launch patch for Phantom Blade Zero on November 3 on the WeGame Chinese gaming platform, according to wccftech.com. The update adds new audio options, button remapping and performance work.
The patch introduces Hit SFX Intensity and Hit Impact SFX Intensity settings, and lets players remap the Interact button on both keyboard and controller. S-Game also included performance improvements and optimized shader compilation intended to reduce startup times.
Ray tracing shaders are now compiled separately after restarting the game with ray tracing enabled, a change from the previous behavior, when the game compiled ray tracing shaders by default.
On the difficulty side, the patch reduces the frequency of grab attacks by Hua, Deadly Betrothed on the Wayfarer and Pathbreaker difficulties. Hellwalker and 66-Days difficulty settings were not changed.
Ultra+ mod adds ray-traced ambient occlusion
Separately, the Ultra+ mod for Phantom Blade Zero adds ray-traced ambient occlusion, improved path tracing and optional 4K textures through the HDNatureTextures add-on.
Phantom Blade Zero sold 4 million copies in its first 72 hours of availability, S-Game said earlier.
