Unofficial Gran Turismo Sport PC Port Released on GitHub

The fan-made port adds AMD FSR 3.1 frame generation and configurable shader compilation, with the developer warning of ghosting on fast edges and menus.

An unofficial PC port of Gran Turismo Sport was released on GitHub on October 16, 2026. The fan-made build adds AMD FSR 3.1 frame generation to the Polyphony Digital racing title, which Sony has never released on PC.

The port's developer says ghosting appears on fast edges and in the interface because the game supplies no motion vectors, but states that the experience holds up above 40 FPS. The news was reported by wccftech.com.

Shader handling is configurable: players can precompile shaders on the splash screen, let the game pause while new shaders compile, or use compile batching set to Short, Medium or Long — up to 0.1, 0.3 or 1 second. Batching is off by default. Shader compiles run on the CPU's efficiency cores, and in one test 13,600 stored pipelines were built in about 25 seconds.

Unofficial ports keep coming

PlayStation began bringing console exclusives to PC with titles such as God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man and The Last of Us Part I, but no Gran Turismo entry has received an official PC release to date. The Gran Turismo Sport port joins earlier unofficial efforts including Bloodborne and God of War 3 Remastered, and a port of the PlayStation 4 version of Gran Turismo 7 may follow unofficially soon, according to the same report.
