Zero To South launches on Steam with Japanese support
Voxel Bytes' survival driving game sends a taxi driver south through a collapsed alternate-history US, with a 20% launch discount.
Voxel Bytes released the survival driving game Zero To South for PC via Steam with Japanese language support on November 7, according to gamespark.jp. The regular price is 1,400 yen, with a 20% launch discount bringing it to 1,120 yen until November 21.
The game is set in an alternate-history United States that collapsed because of the Y2K problem. The player takes the role of a taxi driver travelling south through the ruined country.
The taxi starts in poor condition and needs constant maintenance to keep running. Players must secure fuel and food, searching buildings for supplies, tools and spare parts, and the items they collect are used for repairs as well as upgrades such as performance improvements and added armor.
Armed bandit groups block the roads and demand items or money, and players have to fight them to break through. Drivers can also carry passengers to their destinations and receive food or supplies as thanks.
