VIVANT unveils new visual for Nogoon Beki ahead of final two episodes

The new key art shows Koji Yakusho's character beside a large number 2, with episode 23 set to air on November 1 and the finale on November 8.

TBS has released a new visual for Nogoon Beki, the character played by Koji Yakusho in the Sunday drama VIVANT, according to cinematoday.jp. The image sets a large number 2 beside Beki, who is shown gazing intently at something off-screen.

The visual arrives with two episodes left before the series finale on November 8. Episode 23 airs on November 1 and is set to reveal a shocking truth hidden in Beki's past as well as a secret kept by Adiel.

Beki's return has been one of the second season's threads. In the final episode of the first season, Episode 10, the character was apparently shot down by a bullet from Nogi, played by Masato Sakai.

Episode 22 revealed that Beki survived thanks to arrangements made by public security officer Nozaki, played by Hiroshi Abe, and others. He is now recuperating in his birthplace of Okuizumo, Shimane Prefecture, alongside Batoraka and Piyo, and has been reading about Noah's Ark from the Old Testament.

The same episode saw Nogi and the others close in on the truth about Jamin, the miracle child at the centre of the second season's biggest mystery.
