Datadog unveils AI Guard and Bits AI agents at Seoul summit
Datadog introduced AI Guard, which blocks malicious AI agent actions, alongside Bits security and operations agents at its Seoul event on 27 October 2026.
Datadog introduced AI-based observability and security services, including the AI Guard product and its Bits agents, at Datadog Summit Seoul 2026, held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, on 27 October 2026, according to techm.kr.
AI Guard analyzes the behavior of AI agents in enterprise environments and blocks malicious tool calls, sensitive data leaks and attempts to bypass safeguards, including prompt injection hidden in external documents. In a demonstration at the event, AI Guard stopped an agent from executing a command hidden in a receipt image that would have sent 90 days of transaction data, including employee account numbers, externally.
Datadog also presented Bits Security Analyst, which automatically investigates security alerts and reports within minutes whether they are threats and the basis for the judgment. The Runtime Prioritization Engine analyzes operational data such as APM, logs, database monitoring and API traffic to identify business-critical systems and vulnerabilities and route them to the responsible team. Datadog said it has seen cases where AI reduced vulnerability investigation work by more than 90%.
Customer cases from Krafton and CJ Olive Young
Bits Infrastructure Operations is an AI agent that detects and acts on infrastructure issues and flags risky configuration changes before they are applied. Bits Investigation analyzes logs, performance metrics and deployment records to find the cause of incidents, while Bits Code writes fix code and creates a pull request for review.
Krafton technical management lead Jung Min-kyu said AI-based root cause analysis brought average incident cause analysis time to under 4 minutes over about six months, with meaningful results in 96% of workflows. CJ Olive Young CTO Kim Hwan said AI agent analysis reports reduced the burden on engineers of checking every log and dashboard.
