KT launches Token Factory AI platform with 73 models

KT Token Factory opens on 30 October with 7 domestic and 66 global AI models, plus usage tracking and unified billing.

KT unveiled its AI platform KT Token Factory at a press conference in Seoul on 27 October, and the service launches on 30 October with 73 AI models and integrated usage-based billing.

The lineup includes 7 models served on domestic infrastructure and 66 global models. Among the domestic entries are KT's Mireum K 3.0, Upstage's Solar Pro 4 and Motif Technologies' Motif 3. The global models cover OpenAI's GPT series, Anthropic's Claude, Mistral AI, DeepSeek, xAI and Alibaba Cloud, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.

KT says the platform's Auto Model Router automatically selects a model based on question type, difficulty, required quality and cost, and that the router ranked first overall on the RouterArena routing benchmark. The company also says prompt compression and routing can cut token costs by up to 25%.

Usage is tracked through a Token Detail Record system adapted from telecom call detail records, which supports metering and unified billing across models. KT also plans to expand the platform to more than 500 AI models by the end of the year through a partnership with OpenRouter.

Standard and Enterprise plans launch first; the Enterprise tier adds dedicated networks, private environments and SLAs. KT will expand enterprise features in late December and open the service to individual developers and general users in March next year.
