Fasoo AI to launch platform tracking staff AI use

Survey of 151 Korean security managers found 88.7% use personal-account generative AI for work, while only 19.2% of firms control it.

Fasoo AI announced on October 28, 2026 that it plans to launch an AI security platform that gives organizations visibility into overall AI usage and manages multiple data-leak channels. The announcement came alongside the publication of a report on unmanaged AI use in Korean companies.

The report, titled "Intelligence Out of Control: The State of Shadow AI Usage and Response in Korean Organizations," is based on a survey of 151 security managers at Korean companies, according to digitaltoday.co.kr. It found that 88.7% of respondents said they currently use personal-account generative AI for work.

Only 19.2% of organizations said they identify and control employees' personal-account AI usage. Even among organizations that block AI use in principle, the shadow AI usage rate stood at 77.3%.

The most-cited concern about shadow AI was internal core data being used to train third-party models, named by 28.3% of respondents.

Fasoo AI said its planned platform is intended to address this gap by covering AI usage visibility and the range of channels through which data can leak.
