Kärcher Japan to sell SC 1 Multi steam cleaner in stores from November 2026

Kärcher Japan has announced that it will expand sales channels for its SC 1 Multi steam cleaner series, putting it on shelves at major home centers and electronics retailers nationwide from November 2026, according to kaden.watch.impress.co.jp.
The lineup comprises two models. The standard SC 1 Multi is priced at 19,800 yen, while the SC 1 Multi & Up, which adds a floor nozzle and an extension pipe, costs 24,800 yen.
The SC 1 Multi is a handheld steam cleaner that produces steam in about 30 seconds. Its water tank is removable, so it can be refilled while in use.
The unit measures 113 x 345 x 190 mm and weighs about 1.6 kg. It draws 1,200 W and comes with a 4 m power cord.
The standard model ships with a nozzle head, brush, hand brush, hand brush cover, extension steam hose and descaling cartridge. The & Up version adds the floor nozzle and extension pipe to that set.
Earlier sales
The SC 1 Multi was first offered in advance on the crowdfunding platform Makuake in October 2025 and sold out the same day. General online sales of the product began in March 2026.
