LY Corporation launches AI phone booking for restaurants

The service handles reservations, changes and cancellations around the clock and costs 0 yen to set up, with the first month free.

LY Corporation began full commercial provision of its AI phone-response service for restaurants on October 22, 2026, according to k-tai.watch.impress.co.jp. The service takes reservations, changes and cancellations by phone automatically, 24 hours a day, every day.

Pricing starts at 0 yen for the initial setup and is free for the first month, then from 10,000 yen per month. When a requested slot is unavailable, the system proposes another time that can be booked.

The service links with Treta Yoyaku Daicho, a reservation and customer-ledger system for restaurants, automating the flow from taking a booking to registering it in the ledger. It can also reject or block sales and nuisance calls and forward calls to the restaurant.

The AI answers questions about opening hours, access and similar details. Staff can review each conversation in an admin screen, including the audio, a transcript and a summary.

A reminder function using LINE notification messages is planned for later and was not available as of October 22. Before the commercial launch, a test version was provided to about 60 restaurants.
