NH NongHyup Bank, Agilesoda begin customer AI agent project

The bank held a kickoff meeting on October 19; services are set to launch in the NH All One Bank app in December and at branches in February.

NH NongHyup Bank held a kickoff meeting with its AI subsidiary Agilesoda on October 19 to begin a customer-facing AI agent project, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.

The core service, the WM AI Agent, will use customer asset data linked through MyData to provide tailored market information and to analyze assets and liabilities. It will also support portfolio diagnosis and design and tax-saving strategies using IRP and pension savings.

Two further agents are in development: a jeonse deposit loan agent and a consumer protection agent.

The services will first launch in December in the NH All One Bank mobile app, covering non-face-to-face asset management, jeonse loans and consumer protection. In February next year, the bank plans to expand the service to face-to-face asset management at branches.

Chatbot and 10 innovation tasks

A chatbot integrating financial information across the bank’s bank and card channels will be tested in December and officially launched in March next year.

NongHyup Bank and Agilesoda will also pursue 10 AI innovation tasks, including loan audit document comparison and compliance checks on marketing content.
