Snowflake AI Data Cloud to run as native service on Oracle Cloud
Snowflake will be sold and billed directly by Oracle on OCI, extending the data platform beyond AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
Snowflake said on October 27, 2026 that it is partnering with Oracle to offer the Snowflake AI Data Cloud on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as a native service provided directly by Oracle. Customers will be able to buy Snowflake solutions through Oracle and pay Oracle for them, according to digitaltoday.co.kr.
The two companies also plan to connect data held in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, NetSuite and Oracle Database with data in other systems. Snowflake on OCI supports data engineering and data ingestion, and includes role-based access control and data access policies for managing that data.
Under the arrangement, customers can process data inside OCI alongside Oracle systems without moving it to another environment.
Until now, Snowflake has offered its AI and data cloud only through Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The Oracle deal adds a fourth cloud option for the company's platform.
