AI Checker Logs 121,608 Checks, With Job-Hunting Documents Rising

Uravation's follow-up survey shows daily checks averaged 1,657 in the first half of October, and business documents were checked 2.2 times as often as in August.

Uravation has published a follow-up survey of its free AI-detection tool, covering 121,608 completed checks made between July 18 and October 16, 2026, according to ascii.jp. In the first half of October (October 1-16), the tool averaged 1,657 checks per day, up from a daily average of 1,451 in August.

Job-hunting entry sheets and business documents accounted for much of the change. Compared with August, daily checks rose 1.4 times for entry sheets (from 312 to 441) and 2.2 times for business documents (from 28 to 62). Daily checks of articles, blogs and social posts fell about 40%, from 255 to 147.

Times of day and shifting document mix

Reports and entry sheets were most often checked around 22:00-23:00, while business documents peaked at 11:00, with 60.9% of those checks made between 9:00 and 17:00. In the two weeks from the week of August 31, entry sheets exceeded school reports in share, at 36.2% versus 35.5%. Reports returned to more than half the share from the week of September 28, at 52.7%.

Uravation updated the AI model used for checking and classification on September 16, 2026, so the AI-rate distribution was not aggregated in this survey.

The company had published an earlier survey of about 73,000 checks on September 15, 2026. Checks passed 100,000 cumulative on October 4 and 120,000 on October 16. Monthly daily averages were 1,751 for July 18-31, 1,451 for August and 854 for September, and temporary glitches on September 10, 15 and 16 caused periods when checks could not be completed.
