Gravity Game Tech, the Thai subsidiary of Gravity, held Ragnarok Festa 2026 on 7 November at the UOB Live Hall inside Emsphere Mall in Bangkok, according to inews24.com. The event unveiled new Ragnarok titles alongside the RAGLAND and Aiwan platforms and three global esports tournaments.
The venue was themed after Alberta, the port city from Ragnarok Online, and combined hands-on zones for new titles with an esports stage and user participation programs. Among the showcased games was Ragnarok Online 3, a PC and mobile MMORPG that rebuilds the original's graphics and music and adds large-scale seasonal battles.
Other titles on show included Ragnarok: The New World, an open-world MMORPG set in Midgard with eight classes, including the new Druid class, and mounts taken from defeated boss monsters; Ragnarok Console Project, a PC and console strategy RPG with gameplay different from the existing MMORPGs; and Ragnarok: Yggdrasil, a mobile title mixing MMORPG and strategy simulation in which six factions compete over 76 castles and territories.
Gravity also presented RAGLAND, a platform built on the Ragnarok Online engine where users can create game worlds, sell content and earn revenue, with support from creation to testing, launch and operation. Aiwan is a web game platform playable on PC and mobile without installation that recommends short videos which launch games directly and uses AI to auto-edit gameplay footage for sharing.
Three tournaments and a 185,000-dollar prize pool
The esports program spans three competitions with a combined prize pool of 185,000 dollars. Ragnarok Stars 2026 brings together five regional teams from Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, China and Latin America in 7v7 matches using third-tier classes, with defending champion Morning Star of Thailand and Korean qualifier Black Angus taking part. Ragnarok Online Classic Championship 2026 pits four teams from Thailand and Indonesia in 7v7 matches, while Ragnarok Landverse Championship 2026 has five Thai server teams and one North American server team in 10v10 matches. All three use a double-elimination format that gives losing teams another chance.
The festival also added an RO Creator Zone for users to exhibit and sell their own products and a Partner Stage featuring participating companies' games and experience programs. An RO Play Zone linked to Ragnarok Online accounts offered minigames and in-game rewards, alongside limited-edition merchandise, a cosplay event, photo zones, local artist performances and the esports finals and awards ceremony. User participation programs were expanded compared with last year.
