Star Wars Zero Company Patch 1.2 Adds Modular Difficulty System

The update lets players disable injuries, cut health scaling and restrict respecs while keeping the original difficulty levels.

Bit Reactor has released patch 1.2 for Star Wars Zero Company, adding a granular, modular difficulty system alongside bugfixes and tweaks, according to PC Gamer. The new settings sit on top of the existing difficulty levels such as easy, normal, hard and ironman beskarboy.

The injury system can now be disabled entirely, so downed operatives are killed instantly instead of being sidelined. Players can also lower the injury allowance before permadeath kicks in, or add a risk of death from being downed.

Health scaling is adjustable as well: players can lower or eliminate it to make operatives more fragile late in the game. The patch further allows the respec function to be restricted, including removal of class and weapon swapping.

Much of the Bit Reactor team previously worked on the XCOM games. PC Gamer's review of Star Wars Zero Company gave it 90%.
