LG Uplus U+one hits record 6.1M monthly active users

U+one combines telecom tasks such as rate lookup and payment with membership benefits and content. LG Uplus attributed the user growth to AI-based handling of telecom tasks and to stronger content and benefits.
The platform's "AI search" feature lets customers find information using everyday phrasing without knowing exact menu or service names. LG Uplus is upgrading it into an "AI agent" that can recommend roaming products and connect customers to sign-up once they confirm.
The Plus content and benefits channel's monthly users more than doubled compared with its launch, the company said. Plus users accessed U+one twice as often and stayed 5.3 times longer than non-Plus users.
LG Uplus also said it ranked first in the mobile telecom category of the 2026 Digital Customer Experience Index by the Korean Standards Association for a third consecutive year, and that the Plus channel won a platinum award at ICT Awards Korea 2026.

Kang Jin-wook, head of LG Uplus's mobile and digital business group, said the company will further reduce the inconvenience of customers searching for information themselves through hyper-personalization.
In October 2025, before the customer center app and the membership app "Your U+" were integrated, U+one had 5.08 million monthly active users.
